Muay Thai, known as the “science of eight limbs,” is the national sport and martial art of Thailand. It encompasses an effective kickboxing system for developing superior physical fitness, mental conditioning and devastating self-defense. Known for its practicality, power, and speed, it specializes in powerful kicks and strikes with the knees, elbows and standing grappling.
In this class, Combatives Unlimited helps students learn the fundamentals of Muay Thai and it's effectiveness in self-defense for men, women and especially children. Students learn how to defeat an opponent in one blow, with the use of thier own body weight. They gain a "never quit" attitude and to learn how to protect oneself, all while getting into amazing physical shape.

Combatives Unlimited is also a member of the World Thai Boxing Association (WTBA) which was founded in 1968 by Ajarn Chai Sirisute, and is the oldest and largest Muay Thai organization in the United States. Ajarn Chai (Ajarn is Thai for “head instructor”) came to the United States with a vision to spread Muay Thai throughout the world, and he is the first-ever Thai boxing instructor to teach Americans this art.
